Lead Software Developer for manufacturing automation

The role:

  • Lead the software development side of Aiqua’s manufacturing automation team.
  • You will be tasked with designing and developing control systems to automate various CNC-based machines used in the production of precast wall panels and bathroom pods.
  • Adjacent to the control system, your role involves developing an understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems that your software controls.
  • You will liase with various 3rd party engineers and report directly to the CEO.

Technical skills:

  • 5+ years software development experience, preferred in Python.
  • Experience collecting, storing and processing data from disparate sources and building complex rule-based action paths.
  • Able to develop basic front-end UIs.
  • Machine learning experience preferred.
  • Keen interest in developing mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

Full-stack developer, Construction Team

The role:

  • Work in the front-line team at Aiqua, developing in-house BIM programs to help construction scale.
  • You will be tasked with developing, maintaining and integrating a suite of programs under the guidance of the Project Manager who has full-stack development experience.
  • You will visit construction sites from time to time to better understand the nature of the business, as well as be a remote member of the team during critical construction periods.

Technical skills:

  • 3+ years full-stack experience with MySql/PHP/CSS/Ajax/JQuery/AngularJS and/or Typescript.
  • Competent in MVC architecture development.
